How do you create an ebook? There are two popular ebook formats: PDF ebooks and exe ebooks.

EXE ebooks can provide security features but there are some drawbacks. The learning curve to create EXE files is steeper. EXE files can only be read by Windows users. Macs can not read them.

One of the easiest way to create an ebook is by converting a computer file into a PDF file. After installing the PDF software, it's as easy as opening a file and clicking the "print" button. That's all there is to it.

PDF stands for Adobe Portable Document Format. It was invented by Adobe Systems and lets you capture and view information — from any application, on any computer system.

Free PDF Reader You need Acrobat Reader to read PDF documents. Acrobat Reader is built in to most browsers. But you may want to provide this link to your ebook buyers just in case they're using an older browser that does not include the Acrobat Reader. I put this link in all my download pages.
